Bahraini politician and social activist, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt since 2022. Previously served as the President of the Council of Representatives from 2018 to 2022. Zainal worked as a family counseling specialist at the Hope Institute for Children, where she was seconded by the Ministry of Education from 1984 to 1988. She had a long tenure at Bahrain Television spanning twenty-five years, during which she held several positions including Director of Bahrain Television from 2008 to 2009, and as a Development and Strategic Planning Advisor at the Bahrain Radio and Television Authority from 2007 to 2008. Zainal currently holds various positions, including serving as a lecturer at the College of Media at Al Ahlia University since 2017 and as Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at Al Ahlia School since 2012. Honors: Zainal was awarded the Fourth-Class Bahrain State Medal in 2002.
