A Jordanian scholar, jurist, and minister, holding the position of Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs, and Holy Sites since 2019. He previously served as the Grand Mufti of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from 2017 to 2019. He has been an imam in the mosques of the Jordanian Ministry of Awqaf for fifteen years, and an imam and teacher at the King Hussein bin Talal Mosque.
Educational qualifications:
- PhD in Islamic Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals - Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence in 2009, International Islamic University.
- Master's degree in Islamic Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals in 2001, University of Jordan.
- Bachelor's degree in Sharia Law, specializing in Islamic Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals in 1995, Yarmouk University.
- Diploma in Sharia Law from the Prince Hasan College of Islamic Sciences, specializing in Imamate and Preaching.
