Nadine Dawani


She is a Jordanian athlete and Taekwondo player representing the Jordanian national team in the 67kg weight category. She is the first Jordanian player to hold the title of Asian champion after winning the gold medal at the Asian Taekwondo Championship in 2012 in Vietnam. She participated in the Olympic Games for three consecutive editions (2004, 2008, 2012) and carried the Jordanian flag at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

She became a member of the Jordan Olympic Committee in 2014 and served as the head of the Jordanian delegation at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China. Additionally, she was the head of the Jordanian delegation at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
