He has over 28 Years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in marketing, regulatory affairs, manufacturing and managing companies in the MENA region. He was the Senior Vice President of Hikma Pharmaceuticals, a British multinational pharmaceutical company with headquarters in London (annual revenue $2.3 Billion) where he was responsible for setting the strategic direction of the business and oversees all of the commercial, operational, and business development functions. He was Appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Dar Al-Dawa in 2019 (annual revenue $120M), one of the largest Pharmaceutical companies in the MENA.
Maen was responsible for the successful Hikma licensing of Remsima (Infliximab), Truxima (Rituximab) and Herzuma (Trastuzumab) from Celltrion Healthcare. He was the first executive to launch biosimilars in the whole MENA region.
Maen extensive experience in Market access to MEA region. Throughout his career at Hikma and Dar Al Dawa, Maen has built a very strong business network in MEA and has gained significant knowledge and expertise to identify market access opportunities resulting in exceptional growth in market share and achievement of significant business success. He is a pharmacist since 1995 and holds an MBA Triple Major (Finance, Marketing and Operations Management) From Scranton University, srcanton USA.
