Mr. Tamimi joined Safwa Islamic Bank on 01/03/2018, bringing extensive banking and administrative experience spanning over 30 years. During this time, he worked at prestigious financial institutions in Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and the United States of America.
He holds a Master's degree in Accounting. Mr. Samer serves as the Executive General Manager of Safwa Islamic Bank. He previously held the position of Executive General Manager of the United Bank from 2015 to 2018. He also held various positions at the Arab Bank, including Auditor for the Global Audit Group, and worked at Deloitte and Touche.
He is a board member of the Zakat Fund and Chairman of the Board of Managers of Misk Financial Brokerage Company. He also served as a board member of Europe Arab Bank PLC in London, a board member of Arab Bank Australia, and a member of the Board of Trustees and Investment at the Jordan University of Science and Technology.
