Dr. Al-Hanty holds a professorship in Mechanical Engineering and Energy Engineering with 18 years of experience in research and teaching at Hashemite University, German Jordanian University, and Al-Hussein Technical University. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Jordan and his PhD from Queen's University in the United Kingdom in 2002.
Dr. Al-Hanty served as the Vice President of Al-Hussein Technical University and has extensive experience in the private sector in energy management and renewable energy. He supervised the implementation of over 300 energy audit and solar energy projects in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. He has also worked as a consultant for numerous European and international projects and is a certified trainer by the American Society of Energy Engineers. He has received several local and international awards for his contributions.
