This individual held several positions in the Jordanian government, with the latest being the Minister of Water and Irrigation. They completed numerous studies post-doctorate in water and environmental economics at Harvard University in 1996. They are considered a water expert in the Middle East, with over thirty scientific research papers published in international journals and conferences. They hold the Independence Medal, second class, and the Order of the Jordanian Star.
Education:
They obtained a Master's degree in groundwater from the University of Jordan in 1968 and a Ph.D. in water resources from the Technical University of Munich in Germany in 1986.
