Dr. Ibrahim Ali Rawabdeh holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering / Industrial Management from Cleveland State University in Ohio, USA in 1997. He also earned a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the same university in 1994, a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Jordan in 1993, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Jordan in 1990.
He served as a professor in the Industrial Engineering Department at the University of Jordan from graduation until 2017.
Dr. Rawabdeh has held several leadership and managerial positions in various fields and locations, including the academic sector where he began his professional career as a faculty member in the Industrial Engineering Department at the University of Jordan in 1997, then as the head and director of the Consultation and Training Center at the university. He also worked in the industrial sector as the CEO of a cosmetics company, director of the European Jordanian Business Development Institute at the Amman Chamber of Industry, and as an executive director of the Amman Chamber of Industry. He has also served as the program director for the Doctor to Factory program, which aims to link the industrial sector with academic institutions.
He has authored over 50 published research papers in the field of industrial engineering in general, and quality management and excellence in particular.
Dr. Rawabdeh has extensive experience in excellence as a consultant, trainer, and team leader in the assessment process of various excellence awards in Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia, such as DGEP, SKGEP, ADEP, AJEP, KAQA, MECCA, and KAIIA. He also worked as a distinguished consultant at the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).
