Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Executive Director of the Jordan Strategy Forum, Executive Director of the EDAMA Association for Energy, Water, and Environment, as well as serving as the Executive Director of Advanced Computer Services Company. Engineer Zawati has worked as an energy advisor for numerous Jordanian companies and the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, providing extensive energy consultations to the Jordanian Parliament, companies within and outside Jordan, within programs affiliated with the USAID, GIZ, JICA, EU, and the UN Development Programme.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan in 1987.
- Senior Management Degree from the University of Deusto in Spain in 2007.
- Certificate in Leadership and Development from Harvard, Duke, and Thunderbird Universities.
- Recipient of the Eisenhower Fellowship.
- Named the Best Energy Manager in the Middle East for 2015 by the American Association of Energy Engineers.
